Executive Director | Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce

To assist in developing, establishing and maintaining Chamber strategies to meet strategic goals and objectives. To develop, lead and manage the implementation on a daily basis. The primary directive of the Executive Director is to serve the membership by leading the growth and development of the Baldwin City Chamber as well as the implementation of programs necessary to achieve the mission of the Chamber. The Executive Director is responsible for providing highly visible leadership in the community and building upon the Chamber’s strong reputation in all issues related to the regional economy and community vitality. The Executive Director has overall responsibility for member development/service; community engagement/advocacy; economic development partner; marketing; management of operations/administration, finance, staff/volunteer leadership; strategic planning; and oversight of all Board‐directed initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Executive Director | Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce / CVB

The Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, results oriented Executive Director to enhance and grow a unified member-based organization. The Executive Director is responsible for all business operations of the Chamber. The Executive Director is the
spokesperson of the Chamber and effectively and efficiently manages resources that promote the Chamber and visitors bureau to area businesses, local government agencies, residents and guests of the Wellington area and Sumner County. The Executive Director must demonstrate self-initiative in directing the activities that obtain and retain business members, plan and
execute fundraising and civic events, and develop strong relationships with Wellington and Sumner County government agencies and the business community at large to provide value to the membership and to the Chamber.

Office Manager | Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce / CVB

The Office Manager is an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. The Office Manager should be well organized, flexible
and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office and community of diverse people. The Office Manager is responsible for managing the financials, organizing and coordinating procedures all to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
